The Chairman of Council on Economic and Diplomatic Relations, Zheng Zhong, comments the importance of the ability of one to read correctly the messages and gestures from other parties.

“The smart person listens to words, the wise person listens the tone,” he says.

He also says that Bulgaria must sell its own story to China, as he himself tells his partners about Bulgarian history, hospitality, patriotism and nature.

“There are two types of purchases – practical and emotional. Bulgaria needs to attract investors and friends by telling the most valuable thing about itself, not just figures and statistics.”

Some of the things that Bulgaria does not know about China are technology, good practices and business models, as well as traditional Chinese cuisine.
