Terraland Group accompanied the delegation, which included representatives of leading Chinese engineering and construction companies, corporations, international economic and technical association for cooperation.

The delegation was led by the Vice-President of the Beijing International Economic and Technical Cooperation Association (BIETCA) and consultants from internationally acclaimed legal and financial companies. The visit of the delegation is related to the interest of Chinese companies to invest in infrastructure and energy projects, as well as investment and cooperation in agricultural sector.

During the meeting hosted by Minister Temenuzhka Petkova in the Ministry of Energy they discussed investment opportunities in strategic projects for our country. The two sides discussed the possibilities and have expressed a desire for closer cooperation.

During the next meeting at the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications some of the main topics were the state of transport infrastructure in Bulgaria along with projects, which are already prepared by our experts and which are ready to be assigned rail, air and water transport.

The Chinese investors showed great interest in forms of investment in order to stimulate the development of combined transport in accordance with the transport policy of the European Union and the requirements for development of the Trans-European Transport Network to build a sustainable transport system.

Discussions with Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Liliana Pavlova also passed extremely fruitful. Mrs. Pavlova familiarized the delegation with government priorities in terms of infrastructure and expressed readiness for full cooperation on specific projects that are of interest to both countries.

During their stay the delegation had conducted a number of meetings with the Board of the Bulgarian Investment Agency, the National Company “Industrial Zones”, as well as a number of leading business representatives in Bulgaria in various fields.

The guests visited the port complex Varna, Vineyard Rubin Stanevo, where they were warmly welcomed by old Bulgarian custom with bread and salt, also they had the opportunity to be mesmerized by the scent of Bulgarian Rose while visiting Kazanlak.
